The Breedlove Artista Concertina CE is presented in a stunning Natural Shadow Burst gloss finish with Gold hardware and Ebony fretboard / bridge. Brand new for 2020, this small-bodied electro-acoustic guitar with cutaway is part of Breedlove’s Organic Collection. It features a Solid Torrefied European Spruce top and Solid Oregon Mytlewood back and sides, bound with Dark Walnut. All woods are sustainably harvested, with no clear-cutting – unique at this price point. The Concertina body is Breedlove’s replacement for the traditional Parlour, providing a much bigger and more balanced sound while maintaining a Parlour’s small footprint. Supplied with a Breedlove gig bag and built-in discreet Breedlove Natural-Sound electronics.

Breedlove Organic Artista Series – Torrefied European Spruce / Exotic Oregon Myrtlewood

The Breedlove Organic Artista Series takes luxury to a new level, with gold frets and tuners, offset brass fretboard inlays and an African ebony fretboard capping a Hard Rock maple neck. The latter, denser than mahogany, couples with Breedlove’s favourite tone platform, Oregon myrtlewood, to create an instrument as sonically powerful as it is visually beautiful—with a thin Natural Shadow Burst finish and dark walnut binding setting off each unique, varied and colourful back and side. Torrified European spruce tops with African ebony bridges work with myrtle’s magic fusion of rosewood thump, mahogany warmth and maple brilliance to deliver a balanced, high energy, ultra-responsive playing experience.

The Breedlove Concertina Body – Breedlove’s Parlour

Introduced in 2018, the Concertina is Breedlove’s small body guitar, delivering a surprisingly clear, crisp, loud sound. It’s 12-frets to the body design make it a joy to play. Extensive Sound Optimization™ engineering has resulted in a body shape that has a bigger sound and is more comfortable to play than a traditional parlour.

The Breedlove Organic Collection – Sustainable Guitars Sound Better!

Great sound. No clear-cut woods. The result of a pioneering three-year development programme, The Organic Collection from Breedlove offers four impressive series of sustainably-sourced, all-solid-wood acoustic electric guitars at revolutionary prices. The superior sound of the solid wood is enhanced by thin tops and UV finishes with less than half the glue for increased volume and sustain. No synthetic materials, resin impregnated softwoods or glue-heavy plywoods are used, reducing the guitars’ weight and further improving tone.

Breedlove aims to be the world’s most ecologically friendly and sustainable guitar brand. As such, all wood used in the Organic series comes from individually harvested trees, rather than from clear-cut forests. Revolutionary at this price point, Breedlove have used FSC-certified Mahogany and Spruce, and Oregon Myrtlewood.

For the guitars with Spruce sound boards, Breedlove have employed a torrefication process, which heats the wood, removing moisture and stabilising it. This has dual benefits: All-solid acoustic guitars are notoriously susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, sometimes leading to costly repairs, and in other cases ruining them beyond repair. Torrefication mitigates against this susceptibility, increasing the wood’s resistance and lifespan, especially in more extreme environments. The other benefit is tonal. Over time, solid woods improve and mature, improving a fine instrument’s tone. Torrefication gives you this benefit right out of the box: rich, aged tone, without the vintage instrument price tag!

Finally, all Organic Series guitars are fitted with Breedlove’s new Natural-Sound electronics. This system features soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls with easy battery replacement.
