The problem with a lot of portable stands is that they can be a bit flimsy. This is certainly not the case when it comes to the Hercules GS200B EZpack. It has a tough plastic construction with rubber contact points. Thanks to a wee bit of ingenious design it will happily take electric guitar and bass as well as acoustic. There are two little spring clips that move into place when using a slimmer bodied instrument. Folding and unfolding the GS200 is simple too. When unpacked there are rests that fold out the back of it. This adds to the stability. The Hercules EZpack folds up super flat too. It is small enough to get into a good sized gig bag pocket.
