It should last years and years if looked after. The compact enclosure houses an 8 inch speaker. On the top panel of the Roland CUBE-10GX you get the choice of three amp types. Clean, Crunch and Lead. These can be edited using the CUBE kit software. There is a gain and volume control as well as a three band equaliser. Effects include Chorus, Delay and Reverb.
